The new Internet Explorer 7 is out. I installed it yesterday. So far I like what I see. IE finally has many of the features I use daily in Firefox. I do like the thumbnail tab view (see picture below).
Is IE7 worth the upgrade? Yes, but since Microsoft is going to push it out in their November updates, you will likely not have a choice but to upgrade.
I plan to stick with Firefox, but IE7 is a good 2nd browser to have on hand.
Update 2:40PM
IE7 doesn't work with TARGET=_search any more. Makes all of my sidebar links no longer work. Looking for IE7 options.
Testing Oklahoma News Sidebar: TARGET = _search | _media
THE FIX:
IE7 does not let you use the search sidebar (with TARGET=_search) from web pages, unless you turn it on. Go to Internet Options, Advanced Tab. Check box, OK. Restart browser.
Now default targeting from the sidebar is off. Looks like in IE7 TARGET=_main doesn't work either.
Well it does work only the tag <BASE TARGET=_main> wasn't working anymore. A change from it to a <A TARGET= did the trick.
