Does anyone out there know how to set up your blog search results to eliminate "blog noise".
What is "blog noise" you ask? Well its the term I'm using to describe all those fake blogs out there who do nothing but steal peoples content, post it on a dummy page, and add Google ads on it. Technorati and Sphere both suffer from "blog noise". Sometimes it makes it down right difficult to use these fine search providers.
So far I've found three ways to deal with "blog noise". 1. Ignore it, 2. Rant loudly at my PC screen, or 3. Use Google Co-op Search.
Now I really don't want to rely on Google Co-op Search because it limits discovery of new sites. Why? Because you define who you want to look at. Here is an example of a custom search I set up for Blog Oklahoma Members.
I'm open to suggestions.
