My Name Is URL

Since I've been playing with Twitter so much I've been familiarizing myself with short URL services.

URL (yū'är-ĕl')
Uniform Resource Locater. An Internet address (for example, http://www.hmco.com/trade/), usually consisting of the access protocol (http), the domain name (www.hmco.com), and optionally the path to a file or resource residing on that server (trade).
A URL shortening service takes a really long address and converts it to something much smaller. Ideal for Twitter, IM, and E-mail.
Example:
http://www.programwitch.com/main.asp?xP=BlogLink&xM=1&xY=2105
To:
http://urltea.com/3xe
Many of these short URL services provide an API for use with your applications. I've use both TinyURL and urlTea's API with success.

Heres a list of a few Short URL services I've found: There are more services out there so search around. I did find one service I didn't like so I'm not going to list it here. Instead of forwarding you straight to your requested url, it goes to a parking page with lots of ads on it with your requested url linked from there. So look over these sites before you use them.

I've been using TinyURL and urlTea for a few days now and like both services.
