Since we have a "data plan" with our mobile phone provider I thought about building something that could take full advantage of it. So over the past few weeks I've been working on a mobile versions of Blog Elk City and BlogOklahoma.us.

Blog Elk City Mobile: m.blogelkcity.us

Shows Elk City, Oklahoma, local weather, community calendar, and provides quick links to other mobile sites. To make it useful to someone besides me, I've been adding a lodging & dining directory, and other community information.

BlogOklahoma.us Mobile: m.blogoklahoma.us

Here's one I think will be useful when traveling around Oklahoma. I've formatted the historic places database for mobile. Just select the county you are in. You'll get list of all the historic places in that county. (or at least the one's we have data for. Still lots of N/A's in eastern OK.)

Both of these are in beta. Meaning I'm still working on them, and will likely tweak them from time to time.
