Building a Roku Channel

For the last few weeks I've been learning how to build a Roku channel. I'm close to publishing a channel I've been building for the Blog Oklahoma Podcast. I'm on my fourth build, but I might be doing a fifth before I'm done. I've been stumbling on getting live streams to work well. Unfortunately I might be hitting a limitation of the Roku 1 I'm using to build on. Definitely more research is needed.

I'm also building up a back end for the podcast too. I think it would be nice to have a dedicated podcast manager at web site instead of the piecemeal through the blog approach I've been using (I'll still publish on Libsyn though, love their service).

If you're interested in building your own Roku channel, go dig through their development site. The example code they provide will get you going quickly to build a simple channel. www.roku.com/developer
