This is our yard on Sunday, November 29, 2015, in Elk City, Oklahoma, after an ice storm that blew through on Thanksgiving weekend. Ice covered everything. Any tree that had leaves on it suffered damage. Of the trees in our yard, our pecan tree got the worst of it.

Law enforcement agencies across Oklahoma will enforce the Trooper Nicholas Dees and Trooper Keith Burch Act, which bans texting while driving as of Nov. 1st. The penalty for those stopped for texting while driving will be $100.
