Wednesday. Wednesday morning …

There must have been a big Windows 10 update this week. My laptop has been slowly updating itself for the last half hour, and I need a file off of there to do a minor task this morning. So I wait. Well I say wait, I’ve already answered all this morning’s email, adjusted some Gmail filters, reviewed my to-do list, read through some of yesterday’s project notes, and checked on some eBay auctions for the company. So I can say it’s be a productive morning even without my laptop.

Still working on that Node.js project I’ve been working on for the last week, and I’ll probably be working on it well into next month too. So far I think it’s been much easier to work with SQLite than MongoDB. Don’t get me wrong MongoDB is a great product, and I’ll probably visit it again for future projects, but having the self contained data system and being able to use SQL statements has really sped up development. A lot less nested commands to code too.

Ah my laptop just finished updating. It must have heard me talking about it. So I need to cut this short.

More later. Time to code.
