Don't you love how some get worked up over things that don't really matter? Let's take today's newsmaker, musical artist Travis Tritt. He and others like him are so worked up that the beautiful human being and transgender activist, Dylan Mulvaney, was given a Bud Light sponsorship. They’re so upset that they’re calling for an outright boycott. Shhh! I’ll let you in on a little secret. LGBTQ+ people drink beer. I know, shocking. How dare Anheuser-Busch advertise to them or to anyone who isn’t a white cis male?
So, in my dry-humored way, here is my response using Travis Tritt’s words.
II will be deleting all Travis Tritt songs from my playlists. I know many other listeners who are doing the same.

Other listeners who are deleting Travis Tritt songs from their playlists might not say so in public for fear of being ridiculed and canceled. I have no such fear.

In full disclosure, I was a Travis Tritt fan in the 90’s. That was when Travis Tritt was an American. A great American singer-songwriter that later sold his soul to right-wing hate and became unrecognizable to the American consumer. Such a shame.
In full disclosure, I was on a tour sponsored by Budweiser in the 90’s. That was when Anheuser-Busch was American owned. A great American company that later sold out to the Europeans and became unrecognizable to the American consumer. Such a shame.

Mr. Travis, you know if you wanted something other than Bud Light backstage, all you had to do was ask. I'm sure Coors Light will work out for you. Uh Oh! Sorry, they also advertise and support the LGBTQ+ community. How about Natural Light? As for myself, I'd rather drink unflavored water, but you do you.
The world doesn’t need this unwarranted and ignorant hate. It’s a shame it exists.
Isn’t it strange how it’s the dumbest thing these people get worked up over? Candy, drink cups, game consoles, and now beer advertising. You don’t hear a peep from them for things that really matter. You know, things like racial justice, voting rights, healthcare access, poverty alleviation, and individual liberties.
