It was another cold and damp day. This time, I spent most of my day inside with a sweater. I did make a fun discovery, though. We can’t run three space heaters upstairs and in our downstairs bedroom at the same time. Popped the breaker. Oh, joy. Anyway. I did do a little more work on the Newsletter and published a couple of shorts on Blog Oklahoma’s YouTube channel.
Spooky season movies continued on this dreary day with A Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), House on Haunted Hill (1959), and Ginger Snaps (2000). What more can be said with the holiday classic A Nightmare Before Christmas? Worth watching anytime. I stumbled on House on Haunted Hill on YouTube. The ghost story element really isn’t in play in this movie; it’s basically a noir psychological thriller. Still good though. Another great Vincent Price performance. Ginger Snaps has been on my list for quite a while. Glad I was finally able to watch it. The creature effects were good. Bonus points for being practical effects and not CG. A unique werewolf tale. Lots of teenage angst.
More later. Wrapping up #blogmonth soon.
