Small Webcaster Act Passes
I've posted an article from RAIN about the passage of this bill. The Act will help small webcasters pay royalty rates for music at a much more fair rate. The good news is we may see soma fm back on the air by the end of this year. I have 3 favorite webcasts I listen to in the office, all day most times. Radio Paradise, WolfFM and SOMA fm. When all the pain of royalty payments started, soma fm was forced to shut down or pay a hefty $ amount. I'm glad things are starting to even out. Just one more step before this act can become "live" so to speak. It has to be sigend by W.
