Wednesday. Wednesday Morning.

I’m starting to think that forums and Reddit-like services attract a particular kind of jerk. I recently started posting on Lemmy again, and the comments are turning out just like Reddit’s. There are a bunch of trollish, gatekeeping, juvenile, dude-bro types. Well, that’s what I call them anyway. This was one of the many reasons I left Reddit. I’m also seeing the same mentality show up on the forum I run. It didn’t start that way, but it has devolved into it. Not all the comments or posters are like that. But there are enough of them to make me consider walking away. It’s making me think really hard about closing the forum again.
