Life Update

I want to thank everyone for their support, kind words, and positive reinforcement over the last few weeks. I especially want to thank those who signed up for the paid version of this newsletter and donated on Ko-fi. Your generosity means a lot.

Though I’ve been trying my best to keep a positive attitude and my sense of humor, it has been a real roller coaster ride of depression over my recent job loss. Not to say I’m over it all, but at least now I’m not curled up on the couch weeping uncontrollably. Those were some rough rough days.

During this time, I got my resume in order and began applying for a few jobs I qualified for. There’s no self-doubt in my skills, but on the job search level, seeing what people are looking for, there is so much I don’t know. The tech industry is large and vast. So many different languages, libraries, and skills. Many of which I haven’t even heard of. If you’re in the I.T. industry, there are many opportunities to apply for. I wish every single one of you the best in your search.

I hope to have some more positive news for you in a few more weeks. I’m working on some things that have improved my peace of mind, and I will share what I can when I can. Keep your fingers crossed, everyone.
