Rainy Wednesday
It’s been raining all day. Isn’t that great! Western Oklahoma has been locked in a drought all summer long. Hopefully the rains we’re getting will help alleviate some of that.
Can’t say it’s been a peaceful rain. I was awakened multiple times last night by very close thunder. The kind of thunder that rattles the house. So I spent a good part of the day stumbling around from lack of sleep. Good thing I got a desk job, Ha!
We checked two more movies off our Spooky Season list: Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Day the Earth Stood Still.
I honestly couldn’t get into Creature from the Black Lagoon. The Gill-Man is iconic, but the movie overall… Eh. I’ll probably need to revisit some day when in a better mood.
